In the view of the fact that in the government level there is great attention paid for growth of healthy, physically and intellectually strong young generation, it is necessary to mention the given attention found all over the republic. With the aim of executing the PK 1144th Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan as of 1st of July, 2009 “On the program of further accelerating measures and increasing its effectiveness in strengthening the reproductive health of the population, birth of healthy child, bringing up physically and intellectually well-built generation”, the following “HealthTrain” en route for TASHKENT-DARBAND-AKRABOD-DEHQOBOD-TASHKENT for the population of Surhondaryo region has been taken off in foundation’s cooperation with Uzbekistan Railways SSK thereby providing highly qualified medical and humanitarian aid to needy population in the remote areas.
Trough the given HEALTH TRAIN further humanitarian shipment will be distributed to needy population and health institutions of Surhandaryo region’s Qumqorg’on and Denov stations. The HealthTrain consists of nutritional products, products of sanitary and hygiene, wheelchairs, medicines and other humanitarian products with the value that makes up 25 612 800 sum and 245 198USD.
In April of 2011, the HealthTrain en route of Tashkent-Tinchlik-Konimeh-Kara-kata-Mustaqillik-Buzoyboy-Uchquduq 2- Tashkent was organized for the population of Navoi region. Specialists of Health Train provided comprehensive medical examination for 1349 population. Additionally, during the HealthTrain activity humanitarian aid with cost of 32 mln sum which consists of nutritional products, clothes, medicines, sanitary and hygiene products was provided to health institutions and 600 needy populations.
The following HealthTrain will be departed in 23rd of May at 20.40 with special railway wagon allocated by Uzbekistan Railways SSK with the aim of providing social and medical aid to needy population by the group of highly qualified health specialists. Jointly with the given specialists, Medical Social Patronage team’s specialists of foundation’s branch at Surhandaryo region also provide medical aid. Besides, the aid will be provided to children’s health institution in addition to planed stations through the Health Train.
The Health Trains starts its activity from 24th of May and during one week qualified specialists will examine disabled children, women and needy families, distribute humanitarian aid to schools and kindergartens, along with arranging talks to campaign healthy lifestyle among the population.
The main aim of the activity is to provide health and social support, accelerate medical awareness and attract wide public attention to development of charity movement among the inhabitant of the ecologically vulnerable areas, especially for women, children and those who lack in social support.
