Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TİKA) handed over “mobile clinic” to International nongovernmental charity foundation “Soglom Avlod Uchun” on 18 February 2012.
TİKA has been cooperating with “Soglom Avlod Uchun” Foundation for several years and implemented several joint projects. In 2011, the sides started cooperation on supply of “mobile clinics” to Uzbekistan.
“Mobile clinic” is equied with medical equipments (EKG, sphygmomanometer, colposcope and others) and it will be handed over to medical-social brigade of Ferghana branch of “Soglom Avlod Uchun” Foundation.
Population of Ferghana region makes up over 3 million people and “mobile clinic” will help to render medical services to population of remote areas. The “mobile clinic” will be able to serve 20,000 people a year.
