The 9th youth festival “Extreme against drugs” was held in October 21-22, 2011 in Uzbekistan national garden. Organizers of the festival are “Soglom avlod uchun” international charity foundation, Ministry of sports and cultural affairs of Republic of Uzbekistan, Republican foundation of children’s sports development, “Sen Yolg’iz Emassan” republican public children’s foundation, Ecological movement of Uzbekistan, Tashkent city branch of extreme and mountain tourism of Uzbekistan, Uzbek Association of reproductive health with sponsorship of UCELL company.
The festival is realized in framework of planned project lf Youth against drug and for healthy lifestyle for 2012 on the basis of grant of Public foundation of NGO and other institutions of citizen community under Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Aim of the project: Promoting healthy lifestyle against drugs, smoking, attracting youth to extreme types of sports and demonstration of own capabilities through competition with demonstration of beauty and harmony of these types.
Aim of the project:
1. Conducting informational advertising campaigns, directed to rejecting increase of drugs and attracting teenagers and children to competition who wish to demonstrate their skills in this kind of sports.
2. Promoting healthy lifestyle through popularizing this type of sports among children and teenagers through conducting mass show, concerts, tournaments and competitions.
3. Organization of youth festival “Extreme against drugs – 2011” in the framework of state program
The festival will be held in two stages:
- 1. Stage I – 21 October 2011, final game competition “Brave children – extremes”
- 2. Stage II – 22 October 2011, demonstrational performance of best teams on skateboards, rolling skates, mountain bike, mountain tourism preparation, break dance, street slalom, fire-show
The ceremony of awarding winners on stage 1, winners of street slalom and best participants of demonstrational performances.
In closing festival, demonstrational hand-to-hand fighting performance of pupils of military sports classes of Orphanage house #22 of Tashkent city was also organized. Concert programs of groups such as Apokalipsis, Shans, Aladdin and Tears of Sun were held.
Winners of the competition and best participants of demonstrational performances were awarded with prizes.
