History

Soglom avlod uchun foundation was established by the Decree of the President of Republic of Uzbekistan as of April 23, 1993 – About creation of Soglom avlod uchun international non-governmental charity foundation.

Constituent conference of the foundation was held in October 6, 1993 on which the Charter and Statue were confirmed, elections of Board of Directors and a revision committee took place.

According to the decree of the President and on the basis of the current legislation the foundation was registered by Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan (registration number 153 as of 01.12.1993) .

According to the Decree of the President of Republic of Uzbekistan, Cabinet of Ministers accepted a number of decisions regulating activity and providing conditions for realization of medical, social, humanitarian, financial and economic programs of the foundation:

  • #268 as of June 3, 1993 – “About the organization of activity of Soglom avlod uchun foundation”;
  • #524 as of October 28, 1993 – “About offers of Soglom avlod uchun foundation”;
  • #589 as of December 3, 1993 – “About the complex decision of issues on improvement of rising generation” where  “Improvements of rising generation program” was confirmed;
  • #61 as of February 8, 1994 “About the preferential taxation of the enterprises, associations, organizations of Soglom avlod uchun foundation”;
  • #119 as of March 5, 1994 – “About the state support Soglom avlod uchun foundation”;
  • #71 as of February 22, 1996 – “About creation of system of medical-social home nursing in Republic of Uzbekistan”;
  • #46 as of February 15, 2000 – “The Government program on Healthy generation”;
  • #74 as of March 4, 2000. – “About measures on maintenance of activity of Soglom avlod uchun international nongovernmental charity foundation ”.

The 74th decision as of March 4, 2000 “About measures on maintenance of activity of Soglom avlod uchun international non-governmental charity foundation” defines  the following major activities:

  • Mobilization of necessary means and resources, active attraction of the public, enterprises and organizations for implementation of the “Healthy generation” Government program;
  • The organization of wide propagation among the population, strengthening health of mother and child, strengthening a role of a family in formation and education of healthy generation;
  • Carrying out active work on attraction and accumulation of means of humanitarian, charity of foreign and local sponsors;
  • Coordination of public and private sectors’ efforts
