As you know, result of foundation’s international cooperation is joint project with Friedensdorf International (Germany). During 2010, 249 children with congenital cleft lips and palate were operated with total cost of 23 068 000 sum. 14 children were sent to Germany for treatment and 9 children returned home after successful treatment received in Germany. Currently 19 children are in Germany’s hospital receiving treatment.
Furthermore, 201 children with age of up to 15 years suffering from congenital leg and neck diseases have been operated.
With aim of allowing children from needy families to spend their holiday properly, summer and winter recreational resorts were organized. According the agreement signed with Embassy of Russian Federation in Uzbekistan, 220 children at age from 9 till 12 years old spent their winter holiday in BUSTON recreational resort in Chirchik city, Tashkent region. Besides, during summer 350 needy children from Samarkand, Bukhara, Navoi, Tashkent region and Tashkent city were sent to Sitora resort in Samarkand and Ok-Tosh chemists resort in Tashkent region. For these projects, Embassy of Russian Federation in Uzbekistan allocated 149 000, thousands sum.
On 10-15th of May 2010 representatives of Friedensdorf International (Germany) visited our country and examined 367 ill children at age up to 12 years old from Tashkent, Sirdarya, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Navoi, Bukhara regions and Tashkent city in cooperation with foundation and Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
