XXII Republican competition "San’at G’unchalari"
On March 27, 2021, the Republican competition of young performers among children's music and art schools and specialized musical academic lyceums starts in Tashkent.
The Republican competition is held on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated on November 20, 2015 No. PP-2435 "On the state program for the further improvement of the activities of children's music and art schools for 2016 – 2020" and on May 31, 2017 No. PP-3022 "On measures for the further development and improvement of the sphere of culture and art", in order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated on October 13, 2008 No. 226 "On the encouragement and material stimulation of gifted youth of Uzbekistan" by a joint resolution of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Culture, the International Charity Fund "Sog’lom avlod uchun" and the Union of composers and bastakors of Uzbekistan.
The purpose of the competition is to support and promote young performers from different regions of the country. Being one of the most prestigious competitions for young performers in Uzbekistan, from year to year it invariably arouses great interest among connoisseurs of art and culture. The competition will provide an opportunity for young talents not only to demonstrate their skills, playing skills, but also for teachers to exchange professional experience among colleagues, get advice from leading experts, as well as participate in master classes, where they will get acquainted with new works of composers of Uzbekistan. Over the entire period of the state program to stimulate talented youth, more than 12,000 participants took part in the competition, about 1,500 became Laureates, most of them contributed to the development of culture and art of Uzbekistan, gained nationwide, world fame. For many young performers, participation in the competition opens up new opportunities, shows the way in life. All this is a powerful impetus for a new wave of participants. Therefore, not only the victory, but also the very participation in the competition becomes so desirable.
The competition has been held since 1998. The next Republican competition "San’at G’unchalari - 2021", brought together participants from different regions of the republic, 386 educational institutions of music and art took part in the project. This year, the qualifying round of the XXII Republican competition has been held in a new format - remote online mode. This year there have been about 1000 people from all over our homeland and they are students, teachers and accompanists.
207 students from all over the country submitted their video recordings, 90 performers who successfully passed the qualifying round will participate on March 27 at the opening ceremony of the competition at the Republican academic lyceum specialized in music of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In the final, the winners in each nomination will be determined. In total, 63 awards have been prepared, 21 for each places, for the first, second and third respectively, as well as a special prize from the commander of the National Guard and valuable gifts from the organizers of the event.
This competition, which has become a traditional celebration of art and culture, has been eagerly awaited by the participants. The competition is planned in 3 directions - woodwind, brass and percussion instruments, presented in the nominations for the younger (11-13 years old) and older group (14-15 years old).
The creative skills and performance skills of the young competitors will be assessed by a competent jury in each of the areas.
The closing ceremony and awarding of participants will take place in the Great Hall of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan on March 28 at 12.00. A bright final chord of the festive concert will be the performance at the closing ceremony of the winners in all nominations. The laureates will be awarded with diplomas and gifts.
Undoubtedly, this competition is an important project for the support and development of national culture and art in the direction of wind and percussion instruments. The republican competition opens up new names and provides an opportunity for talented children from all regions of the country to declare themselves as serious musicians, artists, as well as creates close creative contacts and bonds of friendship.
The competition will be held in accordance with all sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
