The international organization Friedensdorf International was founded in 1967 and operates in more than 35 countries around the world. The main task of the organization is to assist in the treatment and rehabilitation of sick children under 12 years of age. In 2002-2023, 435 children from Uzbekistan were sent for treatment to Germany (treatment period from 6 months to 1.5-3 years).
Since 2004, within the framework of grants allocated to the Republic of Uzbekistan from the international organization Friedensdorf International of Germany, health improvement projects have been implemented; from 2003 to 9 months of 2023, 6,716 congenital defects of the face, lips and palate were identified. , as well as Children with congenital orthopedic defects of the neck and legs (curvature of the neck and clubfoot) are treated in clinics of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Andijan, Bukhara, Fergana, Kashkadarya, Samarkand regional children's multidisciplinary medical centers and in the clinic named after Tashkent State Dental Institute) successful operations.
